Job Description
We are seeking a front office receptionist with experience in the medical field to check patients in by collecting and processing their information, collecting co-payments and processing paperwork. Receptionists are to prepare paper and electronic files for provider review, file, answer phones, and assist patients and providers in completing charting paperwork. Responsibilities also include scheduling appointments, fielding concerns and questions from patients and associates. Other standard office responsibilities and tasks typical of a medical office setting would also be expected.
Requirements
Experience in a medical office setting is preferable. Only high school graduates may apply. We are looking for candidates with a friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills, an ability to tolerate a heavy work load and a high stress environment, and those with higher than average communication and organization skills. Candidates should be highly dependable and reliable, extremely motivated, organized, possess basic to intermediate computer skills and have the ability to learn new programs and tasks easily. Only those candidates willing to travel on a regular basis to our locations in American Fork, Orem and Payson will be considered.
