Job Description
The Payson High School Track & Field team is hiring a coach to train the throwers (shot put, discus, and javelin) for the 2013 spring season. You will design and implement the training program for the throwing athletes. The season runs from January to mid May. Coaching interns are free to apply. Payson High Track & Field runs a professional and fun program that has a huge impact on the lives of young athletes.
Requirements
Knowledge of effective training principles.
Knowledge of the throwing events (shot put, discus, javelin) is preferred.
Previous coaching experience is not required.
Must be available to attend practices daily and competitions weekly.
Must pass a background check.
Must be willing to make a positive difference in the lives of young people.
