Job Description
EQUIPMENT MANAGER JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone who wants to become a part of our team and a long term employee. Inclined to find an individual who has management skills and is looking for growth potential.
2-5 years Direct Heavy Machinery & Equipment Mechanic experience would be preferable. Familiarity with CAT, Hitachi, John Deere, CASE, Yanmar, Kobelco is a plus. Strong diesel mechanic and welding skills are considered very valuable. Must have clean MVR.

Requirements
• Need to maintain and perform maintenance and service schedules for a fleet of heavy machinery including; Loaders, Excavators, Skid Steers, Mini Excavators, Compactors, Hoe Packs, Trailers, and accessories.
• Perform repairs as needed to make sure fleet stays in proper working condition
• Handle purchase orders, budgets, and cash flow projections
• Must be comfortable handling administrative tasks including; scheduling, safety meetings, work orders, purchase orders, and inventory management. Should be able to work with and build relationships with vendors and suppliers, as well as customers
• Comfortable with basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Knowledge of CDL a plus, but not required. Must be able to read, write and understand English and follow written and/or verbal instructions. Able to lift 100 lbs. Familiar with record keeping as it pertains to maintenance. Must be able to work without supervision. Maintain shop cleanliness, tools, and parts inventory.
