Job Description
Busy Downtown Salt Lake City Office is seeking a Receptionist.

The Receptionist is responsible for supporting the reception desk. As the first point of contact s/he is responsible for greeting visitors and employees. A professional appearance, friendly demeanor and mature 'can-do' attitude is required. Working hours are 8-5, M-F. Individual will be a temporary employee for 3-6 months with a potential to become a full time employee with benefits.
Must be energetic and proactive and have the ability to carry out detailed tasks with minimal direction. 12 months experience in an administrative role in a professional office environment required, other experience and training a plus.

Basic job duties include but are not limited to:
•Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel.
•Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
•Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are unavailable.
•Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions and other information.
•Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
•Monitors visitor access and issues parking validations when required.
•Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office Suite
•Creates and prints clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying and collating.
•Receives, sorts and routes mail, and maintains and routes publications.
•Using online software, ships packages via the UPS shipping tool.
•Assists in the preparation of vendor invoices as necessary.
•Orders, receives and maintains office supplies.
•Oversees the cleanliness of break room: ensuring utensils are stocked, empties refrigerator and recycling bins as necessary.
•Coordinates with vendors for accurate delivery of soft drinks and water.
•On occasion, orders catered meals for breakfast and lunch meetings.
•Uses the time reporting system appropriately and as directed each week.
•Performs responsibilities in a professional manner, meeting the Company’s mission and goals.
•Completes other administrative tasks in a timely manner.
