Job Description
Responsible to improve existing manufacturing processes and develop new processes by applying knowledge of manufacturing methods, lean manufacturing principles and machine/tool /fixture design and fabrication.
Specific Duties:
• Design and build and/or source machinery, equipment, tooling, jigs and fixtures to be used in manufacturing processes
• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of each process in assigned area understanding process stability, efficiency, quality and safety.
• Implement process efficiency improvements based on process mapping, layout and flow improvements, quality improvements and scrap reduction
• Re-design existing products using Design for Manufacture methodology
• Successfully manage project time lines, costs, and deliverables in a goal oriented environment.

Requirements
Education: Engineering degree preferred or equivalent experience
Skills/Qualifications:
• Manufacturing methods and processes
• CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
• Machine, Tool & Die and Mold Design
• Working with complex systems and processes
• Communication skills
• Technical presentations
