Job Description
Composites Manufacturer is accepting applications for a Quality Assurance Manager.
Rock West Composites is a growing company that seeks a QA Manager who is able and willing to perform all tasks supporting our new Quality function; from manager to inspector. The tasks include bringing our current quality practices into compliance with AS9100, documenting those processes, training staff, and performing inspections themselves. Come join our team as we begin our next growth phase as a major supplier of composite components to our commercial, industrial, and military customers.
Responsibilities would include:
AS9100 Certification: This person would be responsible for the implementation and successful certification of AS9100/ISO 9001 at multiple sites. Responsibilities would also include organizing the structure and security of our quality records, plus maintenance and revision of the QMS as necessary.
Quality Procedures:
Quality Training: Responsible for ensuring all professional job related training requirements are established, documented, and maintained. Also conduct professional training as required.
Quality Inspector: The successful applicant would also be responsible for performing in-process, receipt and final inspections
MRB Chairperson: Verify that all MRB is documented and handled according to the established QMS. Track, record and verify all discrepancy reports/ CARs are handled properly and closed in a timely manner.
