Job Description
Daybreak Canyon seeks an energetic, passionate, experienced therapist to work with our clients in a licensed residential treatment center. Our clients struggle with issues related to RAD, attachment issues, Executive Dysfunction, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, poor social skills, and other related issues.

Daybreak Canyon is a licensed residential treatment center for boys’ ages 12-17, located in the scenic Silver Valley of northern Idaho. This position is a hands on position which requires time working directly with youth during their daily activities on the floor in addition to the clinical responsibilities of individual sessions, leading groups, and doing family therapy.
Requirements
Qualified applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
-be at least 21 years old
-posses sufficient health (with reasonable accommodations) to be able to work within a physically strenuous environment due to participation in work projects and recreation activities
-posses at minimum either a LCSW, LCPC, an equivalent credential, and be eligible for that level of license in Idaho
-must have at least 3 years of experience working with struggling teens
Strong preference given for residential treatment experience, experience and expertise in outdoor leisure pursuits, and for an experiential orientation to therapy.
