Job Description
Dimple Dell Fitness & Recreation Center has a great opportunity for a contracted Personal Trainer. This contracted position is responsible for providing one-on-one or group fitness and personal training to facility members participating in the program, as well as educating members about the fundamentals of strength and aerobic training, proper form, and safe and successful use of fitness room equipment.
Dimple Dell will collect the money for services rendered and the contractor will be paid on a 70/30% split.
*This service may be utilized by more than one recreation facility throughout Salt Lake County.*

Requirements
Successful applicants will provide proof of related certifications. Including, but not limited to: American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), American Council on Exercise (ACE), Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA), American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA). A degree in Exercise Science or related field will be accepted in place of certifications.
Proof of certifications and/or degree will be required as a condition of awarded contract.
Applicants will need to provide a COMPLETED Recreational Program Agreement Offer Form (RPAOF). This can be obtained through contacting the employer at ehamilton@slco.org. RPAOF must be delivered to the Center in a sealed enveloped marked clearly with the name of the position sought.
Contract applicants will need to provide proof of legal liability insurance - (Minimum one million dollar general liability insurance policy).
A copy of their Business License.
