Job Description
Deseret Digital Media is looking for qualified, independent contractors to write content about health for a new, family-based website that will launch this fall. Our mission is to be trusted voices that enlighten, strengthen and inspire hundreds of millions of families worldwide. We are interested in hiring individuals who share our vision.

Health writer will:
• Log into web-based software and work from home.
• Write factually based articles about health topics.
• Work with editors to ensure that articles are high quality and fit our particular style.
• Deliver articles in a timely manner.
Requirements
Requirements
• Bachelor’s and/or Master's degree in a health-related field.
• 5+ years experience in health-related field.
• Firm grasp on grammar, general writing principles, and the English language.
• Ability to write in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner.
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and in print.
• Quick turn around.
• Ability to act independently, with little supervision.
• Must be willing and capable of adapting to ever-changing media policies and practices to help the company stay ahead in a competitive market.
• Must have access to a computer and high speed internet.
• Must be able to complete paid training in Salt Lake City.
