Job Description
Core skill set:
- Coding
-- Understanding of object-oriented programming
-- Experience using MVC (Zend/CodeIgniter/Symphony/Rails or similar)
- MySQL
-- SQL Query Experience (JOINS, UNIONS, GROUP BY)
-- Understanding of query optimization, indexes, locking, transactions, etc.
- Core web development skills: (HTML/CSS/Javascript: JQuery, AJAX, JSON)
- Experienced using version control (Preferably Git)
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Applicants with experience in these areas will be given extra consideration: Magento, Ruby, Python, MongoDB, online payment gateway integration, API integrations, cURL, regular expressions, unit testing, integration testing, image manipulation, Fireworks/Photoshop, site design.

- 5+ years of work experience with open source web facing database application development.
- Have experience working in fast-paced entrepreneurial or startup environments, or been part of an agile/rapid development team.
