Job Description
Looking for multi-disciplined engineer to assist in design and implement the building of custom equipment in the leak testing and vacuum chamber markets. Must have ability to manage large complex projects with skills in both mechanical and electrical industrial automation. Candidate must be adaptive to various project sizes and types while exhibiting accuracy, decisiveness and working in a fast paced environment. Candidates must be skilled in 3-d drafting design using Solid Works, coordination with customer and shop personnel, preparing 2-d prints for quoting and shop use in an expedited manner, and keeping projects on schedule. Projects vary from complex turn-key automation machines to simple cost effective solutions. Must be able to see the big picture but also manage all the small details for various projects going at the same time. Will work closely with customers to ensure their requirements and timeline are kept.
Requirements
Candidates must be exhibit the ability to be quick learners and pick up the skills and expertise needed to be a successful engineer. Education - 4 year engineering degree Skills Experience - Min 5 years experience Software: Solidworks or comparable 3-d software package - Autocad - Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Outlook Experience in PLC programming and HMI software a plus Ability to read, understand and create electrical schematics Experience in pneumatic design and general industrial automation
