Job Description
• Assembles, installs and tests electrical systems.
• Installs and tests temporary trade show electrical systems up 480 volt.
• Inspects, repairs, replaces, and services generators, transformers, and control equipment.
• Conducts preventive maintenance on heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment.
• Uses a variety of testing equipment to diagnose and correct any electromechanical and electrical distribution problems.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and electronic schematics to effectively locate, diagnose and correct operational problems with heating, air conditioning, and ventilating equipment.
• Installs power supply wiring and conduit for newly installed machines and equipment.
• Connects power supply wires to machines and equipment, and connects cables and wires between machines and equipment.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables.
• Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices.
• Plans layout of high and low voltage wiring, installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
• All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Journeyman Electrician License is required
High school diploma, trade school degree or general education degree GED)
1-3 years of related electrical experience
Knowledge of national electrical codes
Excellent organization skills
Ability to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Strong problem solving skills required
Good written, verbal and interpersonal skills required; ability to interact with all levels of staff including management
Strong customer service skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
The ability to work in various environments to include heights of 40 plus feet, work in scissor lifts and boom lifts safely.
