Job Description
Method Communications, Utah’s fastest-growing public relations firm, is currently seeking a dependable, detail-oriented, full-time Public Relations Associate to join its dynamic team. Duties will include managing press lists and media databases, researching media targets, preparing documentation for press tours, tracking news coverage in local and national press.

Candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills with an increased emphasis in organization and detail. We offer a competitive salary and benefit package.
Requirements
REQUIRED
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or equivalent
• Strong working knowledge of CisionPoint database system
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in past-paced environment
• Ability to take direction well, and self-direct when necessary
• Exceptional researching skills
• Fastidious attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
• Proven proficiency in all Microsoft applications

PREFERRED
• Experience planning and implementing press tours
• Familiarity with search engines and news tracking services
• Desire to grow into a role that includes pitching media and landing stories
