Job Description
SendOutCards is an online greeting card and gift company based in Salt Lake City. We are a network marketing company with a unique online greeting card system that lets you create a custom card, add a personal photo, write your message, add a gift and click send. We print a real card, stuff it, stamp it and mail it for you to any postal address anywhere in the world. We have an immediate need for an entry-level social media professional to join our team.

The Social Media Coordinator will assist with the strategy, vision, and development of social media solutions at SendOutCards and is responsible for the implementation of these solutions. In collaboration with the Marketing Manager, the Coordinator will translate management’s creative vision into compelling, executable integrated social media campaigns that meet customer needs and maximize ROI.

This role will lead development of a measurement and engagement strategy that can articulate value creation and ties to business goals through the social channels. The Coordinator must stay abreast of new technologies in the pursuit of creative excellence while working to lead SendOutCards social media efforts.

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic presenter capable of leading meetings with internal teams and external partners, and motivating, inspiring and creating excitement about SendOutCards social media strategies.

Strong written communication skills are imperative and will be used daily in the social world and to assist the Communications Coordinator with internal and external messaging.

The right person will be passionate about creating engaging social strategies based on high-quality campaigns.


Job Summary:
The job of the Social Media Coordinator is to act as the ambassador for SendOutCards in the social world by building and protecting its brand name, mission and vision.

Ensure that brand integrity/positioning are maintained across all social channels; oversee development and organizational adherence to quality standards, budgets and schedules.

Lead development of campaign strategies that fall within strategic framework.

Educate, lead, influence, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

Seek out innovative approaches to corporate challenges and opportunities within the social sphere.

Develop engagement metrics that outline value and results tied to business objectives.

Provide leadership and cultivate an atmosphere of collaboration.

Promote a culture of teamwork, commitment to excellence and ongoing professional development that will contribute to positive morale within the company.


Responsibilities:
Direct, moderate, and develop SendOutCards’ social media platforms daily.

Create and post engaging, sharable, likeable, and informative content across all platforms to promote the company and its products on a daily basis.

Engage in conversations with followers and respond to all inquiries on social sites appropriately, effectively, and timely.

Create ways for users to connect to SendOutCards to build a sense of community.

Direct trainings on social media topics with internal teams and external partners.

Create weekly reports to internal teams to show progress.

Work with various coordinators to promote events, trainings, products, incentives etc.

Write marketing/communication copy for online, print and digital sources.

Conduct research on the latest trends in social media.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in communications, public relations, advertising, marketing, journalism, english or other related field is preferred (not required).

Working experience with major social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube.

Working knowledge of the network marketing (MLM) industry is preferred (not required).

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet set deadlines, and pay attention to detail.

Knowledge of marketing principles.

Working knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator as well as basic video editing capabilities preferred (not required).

Exceptional written communication skills are a must.

Self-directed, yet works well with a team, and displays excellent organizational skills.
