Job Description
Role Title: Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant
Reports to: Construction Manager

Responsibilities Overview:
Manage all aspects of bookkeeping for a fast paced, high volume residential remodeling company. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to managing A/P & A/R, allocating costs including payroll to jobs, managing budgets, tracking budget to actual variances, generating various reports regularly and as needed. Additional responsibilities include tracking due diligence deadlines and scheduling various inspections in coordination with our institutional investment client(s). Some HR responsibilities may also be required.

• Insure safe and clean working conditions in the office.
• Manage A/P, A/R & all aspects of bookkeeping.
• Track and report budgets & other items as needed.
• Track Due Diligence requirements for clients’ Real Estate transactions.
• Complete other activities as deemed necessary by the Construction Manager.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. College degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
Experience:
3 plus years of experience working in bookkeeping/accounting including A/P, A/R, payroll, budgets, etc. Good working knowledge of QuickBooks. Experience with construction accounting is preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of GAAP.
Other:
Must a positive attitude, be a team player, driven to succeed, have reliable transportation and a phone. Must be teachable and willing to learn.
