Job Description
Rare Opportunity for Professional Sports Sales Manager

This is a unique opportunity for the right sales leader to make a career in professional sports. The Utah Blaze is a member of the Arena Football League which has 17 teams nationwide. We play our home games at Energy Solutions Arena in front of thousands of fans and live on television. If you are a proven sales leader that is comfortable taking on challenges and delivering results, this is your dream job.

The Blaze are coming off a record-breaking year in 2012 and are expanding their executive team. The on-field product is the best in the league.

We are looking for the following characteristics in our ideal person:

1. Ability to recruit, develop and motivate a sales team of up to 20 people.
2. Proven track record in achieving sales targets.
3. Experience managing outbound sales efforts using remote and in-person sales methods.
4. Ability to self-generate leads through time and territory management.
5. Comfortable in ambiguous environment.
6. Self motivated/goal driven.
7. Prior experience developing compensation systems/plans.
Requirements
To be competitive for this position you should have 3+ years of sales and/or sales management experience in a self-driven capacity.

College degree is a plus, but not required.
