Job Description
Excellent opportunity to join a fast growing LED light manufacturer. Looking for a full time employee (35+ hours per week) who is highly motivated, punctual, dependable and a quick learner. Needs to be able to solve technical and mechanical problems and follow specific instructions. The work is fairly easy to understand but requires good observation and focus to accomplish.
-Mechanical and electrical production and prototype assembly– customize when needed and assemble production and prototype chassis.
-Assemble and test lighting for production and prototype development designs
-Assemble Custom lighting units – assemble and test small product runs and limited order runs.
-Safely and effectively drop off and deliver parts to vendors and/ or customers
-Work area – maintain a clean and orderly work place and environment that is safe and efficient.
-Maintain a system for storing and filing tools, materials, documentation, procedures, etc. so that others can find, use, and return items.
-Procedures – maintain all processes and procedures related to the production and quality assurance environment.
-Quality assurance – personally make sure that all products shipped or delivered are free from defects and blemishes and meet the high quality standards of excellence and perfection.
-Other: complete any and all other tasks assigned
***Tasks vary daily as business continues to expand

Requirements
- Min. 1 year experience in soldering and using hand held power tools
- Experience in mechanical and/or electrical assembly
- Ability to communicate openly and effectively
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision and direction
- Ability to be proactive and complete tasks with varying priorities on time
- Adaptable to a changing work environment
- Ability to lift and handle products on a daily basis that weigh up to 50 pounds
- Bottom line oriented
This position is very important and will require someone that is motivated and looking to grow within the company. Very busy office that may at times, require working more than Full time hours and once in a great while, may require working a Saturday here and there.
Normal Work hours M-F 8 am - 5 pm
