Job Description
Small Salt Lake City law firm seeks receptionist/legal secretary. Practice includes family law, civil rights, general litigation, and estate planning. Responsibilities include drafting correspondence and some legal documents under the direction of the attorneys. Duties also include daily filing, copying, scanning, calendaring, and office organization and management. The position also includes answering telephones and greeting clients and other office guests, running errands, and contact with the courts and other law offices. The successful applicant must be cheerful, hard working, fast learner, able both to strictly follow instructions and to work independently. We will be hiring either Full-time or Part-time, so please indicate your preference in your cover letter.
Requirements
Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills
• Office experience preferred, but not required
• Skilled in use of WordPerfect, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
• Type 55+ WPM
• Handle pressure of deadlines and prioritization of multiple assignments
• Time management skills
