Requirements: The position requires a hardworking person able to stand on his/her feet for long periods of time, as well as bending, squatting, and standing on a footstool. An experienced professional should have at least two to five years work experience, be detail-oriented, excellent spelling skills, and the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
This position is paramount to the organization so that we are in compliance in maintaining member records as required by the National Association of the State Board of Accountancy (NASBA).
We may take into consideration additional qualifications should you choose to stay on with our organization and strive for promotion within, however, our first and foremost need is in filling this position.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working, have a great attitude, and be able to thrive in a fast-paced deadline-driven work environment. We are looking for a professional filing person who could be considered in the distant future to take on additional responsibilities should he/she possess basic administrative skills to support various departments in need of office assistance. The right person will feel comfortable taking on full responsibility for organizing and maintaining thousands of member records.
This person would report to the Office Administrator or the Executive Director, and be responsible for a high volume of filing. We are currently purging thousands of historical member records, which will take focus, organization, initiative, and the ability to see the value and purpose of what needs to be accomplished. It will require monitoring quality control (accuracy) as it applies to our organization???s documentation and what we are required to maintain in our records for a five-year period.
??? Removing all documents older than five years, with some exceptions, and ensuring the current five years belong to that member???s record
??? Filing current documentation, creating new folders and hanging folders/labels, shredding credit card data, recycling non-critical documents, pulling cancelled & non-member records and moving them to other locations
??? Once this entire process has been completed (which is a huge undertaking), we will have determined/ developed a system to convert all member records into an electronic format (this too will be a responsibility of scanning thousands of member records), including our accounting records going back five years as well
