THE GREAT OUTDOORS — Utah is full of outdoor recreation: From skiing to mountain biking to hiking, many of these activities include the Beehive State’s mountain ranges. Which led us to ask the question: Which mountain peak is Utahns’ favorite?

Utah has mountain ranges or peaks located in each of its 29 counties. The tallest mountain peak is Kings Peak with an elevation of roughly 13,527 feet, making it sixth in total elevation in the U.S., according to a Deseret News article.

However, rather than selecting mountains purely on their height, we decided to pick some of the most well-known mountains in Utah for recreation.
