COPLAND — There are certain things that just make my heart happy.

Some of these things include a really good burger, a nice long nap on a rainy day, a hot and cheesy pizza with an ice-cold soda or sleeping in on a cold wintry day. You know what, I'm starting to see a pattern here.

But something that is not food or sleep related that makes me happy is when I see people who may not always jive just being decent human beings to one another; examples include a BYU fan and a Utah fan hanging out together and swapping stories about their families, a Trump supporter and a Hillary supporter sharing an Uber and having a nice chat about the weather, or this cop and this skateboarder just hanging out together.

Alex Chepkevich was out skateboarding while his friend was filming and officer Williams came to see what was going on. Instead of telling Chepkevich to quit skateboarding, she applauded him for his skill and told him how impressed she was. In return, Chepkevich showed her some more stunts and even gave her a small skating lesson.

Yesterday's Have You Seen This?

There really isn't too much to this video except for two genuine strangers being good to one another. Let's all learn a lesson from Chepkeich and officer Williams and take a moment to be kind and open to others today.

Now, I have a meal and a nap to attend to.
