1. 2 dead, 4-year-old child missing after being swept down Provo River
Two people are dead and a child is missing after they were swept down the Provo River Monday afternoon.
Utah County Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Cannon said London DeDios, 4, went into the water near Bridal Veil Falls at around 2:40 p.m.
2. Authorities believe body found is Eagle Mountain teen missing since December
Authorities believe a body found by a hiker in Cedar Valley on Thursday are the remains of an Eagle Mountain teen missing since December.
3. Reward offered for person who killed Helper dog with airgun
The Humane Society of Utah has joined in an effort to find the person responsible for the death of a service dog.
Dennis Marshall found his red heeler, Jazman, in the fenced-in backyard of his home on Thursday morning with a hole in her chest. A veterinarian later found a metal pellet believed to have been fired from an airgun. The dog is believed to have been shot sometime between 4 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Thursday.
4. Pleasant Grove woman killed after her motorcycle collides with truck
A 47-year-old woman was killed Sunday after the motorcycle she was riding failed to negotiate a turn on state Route 35 about 14 miles east of Woodland.
5. Wayne County unveils monument honoring WWII Airmen
From an Air Force flyover to a 21-gun salute, a community paid tribute Monday to the six lives lost when an Air Force plane broke apart mid-flight while en route to a base in Colorado.

2. No. 16 Utah softball falls to Washington in 3rd game of Super Regional
No. 7 Washington did all of its scoring in the first two innings, and held on for a 2-1 win over the No. 16 Utes in Sunday’s decisive game of the Seattle Super Regional to advance to the Women’s College World Series in Oklahoma City.
3. Jack Stockton, father of John Stockton, dies at 89
Jack Stockton, the father of NBA Hall of Fame basketball player John Stockton, has died, several media outlets reported Sunday. He was 89.
4. Plata scores first goal, Real Salt Lake beats Union 1-0
Joao Plata scored his first goal of the season and Real Salt Lake beat Philadelphia 1-0 on Saturday night to snap the Union's club-record winning streak at four games.
5. School's out: Spring sports championships signal end of 2016-17 season
Cottonwood and Timpanogos wrapped up the Class 5A and 4A baseball titles, respectively, Friday afternoon, signaling the end of the 2016-17 high school sports season.
