WEST BOUNTIFUL — Last week, Kurt Cochran of West Bountiful was killed in the terrorist attack on Westminster Bridge in London, and his wife Melissa was sent to a London-area hospital with injuries.

Back home, hundreds of Utah citizens wanted to help.

KSL Golf and Lakeside Golf Course, 1201 N. 1100 West in West Bountiful, have teamed up for a special fundraiser Thursday, March 30. For $75, you can play nine holes with a cart — and all of it will go towards the Cochran family.

“Melissa wants all of you to know how much she loves you," a family spokesman said Sunday as Melissa continued to recover in London. "She is so grateful and overwhelmed with your generosity and outpouring of love. Her health is steadily improving. Thank you all for the kind words and pledges of support."

All of the funds raised will go to the Cochran family in their time of need — 100 percent of the donations.
