AUNT MAE'S — I remember just a few years ago thinking to myself, "Wow, they're already redoing Spider-Man. I mean Andrew Garfield looks solid as the web slinger, but do we need to do it again so soon?"

Now we have "Spider-Man: Homecoming" headed to theaters and I'm thinking, "Wow, they're already redoing Spider-Man. I mean Tom Holland looks solid as the web slinger, but do we need to do it again so soon?"

Whether you wanted it or not, another Spider-Man movie is headed to theaters and we now have the first trailer for it. This Spider-Man has more buzz around it than most other incarnations because the teen hero is now back into the hands of Marvel Studios and he is now an Avenger.

Marvel Studios has given birth to the renaissance of superhero movies, and personally, I have hit my saturation point and am desperately hoping for a reprieve from the end-of-the-world villains and ominous beams shooting into the sky. I'm ready for some good original stories, but according to box office numbers, I am overwhelmingly in the minority on this one.

While I am growing tired of all things superheroes, I have no doubt that in the hands of Marvel, Spider-Man will be an insane amount of fun, and according to the new trailer, it appears to be true.

In the short preview, Tom Holland nails the nerdy teenager Peter Parker with his quick mouth and hasty decisions. Also, throwing Tony Stark in there never hurts either. Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man throws instant credibility at any Marvel movie and his presence is welcomed, for me at least.

Director Jon Watts is at the helm for "Homecoming" and this is by far the biggest film he's ever done. In fact, it's only the third feature film he's ever directed. His debut was with the small kitschy horror flick "Clown" and then he followed that up with the Sundance film, "Cop Car." Neither film is the big spectacle that "Homecoming" is sure to be, but "Cop Car" especially was a well-made film with solid performances from its young leads and veteran Kevin Bacon.

That should relate considering "Spider-Man: Homecoming" consists of a younger cast (Tom Holland) and a veteran playing the villain, Michael Keaton. Other notable cast members include Marisa Tomei, Zendaya, Hannibal Burres, and Logan Marshall-Green. One cast member in particular a lot of fans want to know about who did not make an appearance in the trailer was Donald Glover.

When it was announced that Marvel won the political game and was able to make a Spider-Man movie, fans started jumping online petitioning for the Ultimate Spider-Man storyline where Miles Morales is the titular hero. The fans wanted this diverse character to headline the film, and they wanted Glover to play Morales. That didn't end up happening; however, Glover is a part of the cast, but it's still unknown who he will be playing.

Overall, this trailer looks like a fun time at the movies, but we'll have to wait and see if that's the case. "Spider-Man: Homecoming" swings into theaters July 7, 2017.
