LOGAN — Police say they're looking for a bad apple who allegedly stole from a grocery store claiming by she bought rotten fruit.
On Nov. 10, a woman went into a Logan grocery store and picked up $300 in fruit.
"She then walked to the service desk stating she had purchased the fruit and it tasted bad. She requested her money be refunded. The store employee was sympathetic and accommodated her request," according to a statement from Logan police.
Investigators believe she may have committed similar crimes at other Wasatch Front stores.
In surveillance photos, the woman is wearing medical scrubs and a stethoscope. Investigators say she may be wearing those items in an attempt to gain grocery store employees' trust, not because she is an actual medical professional.
