SALT LAKE CITY — As we count down the days until Christmas, we also continue to count down Utah’s favorite Christmas songs.

Last week, we asked you to narrow the Christmas song tournament field from 32 to 16. There were some major upsets, including Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” losing to Julie Andrew’s “Joy To The World”, Bobby Helms’ “Jingle Bell Rock” being eliminated, and José Feliciano’s “Feliz Navidad” saying goodbye as well.

In this poll, you will narrow down the field to the elite eight.

Click on each link to hear the song.

And the nominees are, in no particular order:

Julie Andrews — “Joy to the World

Brenda Lee — “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree

Elvis Presley — “Blue Christmas

Josh Groban — “O Holy Night

Bing Crosby — “White Christmas

Trans-Siberian Orchestra — “Christmas Canon

Gene Autry — “Here Comes Santa Claus

Johnny Mathis — “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Paul McCartney — “Wonderful Christmastime

Gene Autry — “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer

Nat King Cole — “The Christmas Song

Gene Autry — “Frosty The Snowman

Bing Crosby and David Bowie — “Peace on Earth/Little Drummer Boy

The Beach Boys — “Little Saint Nick

Burl Ives — “A Holly Jolly Christmas

Frank Sinatra — “Have Yourself A Merry Christmas

Remember, this is completely subjective and fun. We think all of these songs are great. How you come to decide upon the better of the two songs paired against another is entirely up to you. You be the judge.

If you want others to vote, share the poll and help your favorite Christmas song win.

Enjoy and remember to look for the third-round voting next week.
