MURRAY — Sections of Murray were without power Monday evening after a construction work hit a power line, officials said.
The worker was working near 5000 S. State Street when he hit the power line, causing a power outage for the central and northern parts of the city, said Murray Fire chief deputy Jon Harris. The outage began around 4:15 p.m. and crews were supposed to have a complete restoration of power by 9 or 10 p.m.
The total number of households without power has not been released at this time.
