MEMORY LANE — As a kid I already had a healthy level of nostalgia and loved spending hours looking through the scrapbooks that documented all the super important moments in my short life.

Around age 14, however, my photo history started transitioning from glossy, sticker-filled scrapbook pages to quick uploads and emoji-filled captions on social networks.

Provo ad agency The Harmon Brothers teamed up with Studio C head writer Dave Vance, as well as cast members Whitney Meek and Mallory Everton, to create this hilarious video for an app called Chatbooks that lets you reminisce about your favorite events without any of the effort, glue sticks or paper cutters. The app connects to your Instagram and Facebook accounts and creates a fully-formatted scrapbook once you’ve uploaded 60 photos.

Yesterday's Have You Seen This?

All of us will probably identify a little with this mom who has time to record how long her son can hold his breath underwater, but can’t be bothered to format a scrapbook in the digital age. I, for one, am happy about anything that makes looking back on memories a little easier.

Watch the video, download the app, and stop feeling guilty for not spending hours making photo books for each of your kids.
