Mountain West play kicked off this weekend when the Air Force Falcons visited Utah State Saturday.
The game didn't end how Utah State would have liked with Air Force winning the game 27-20. The talk of the game afterward was about the officiating, in particular a controversial call that cost Utah State a touchdown.
A loss is hard to swallow, but there were positives from this game. Quarterback Kent Meyer threw for 360 yards while freshman Rayshad Lewis, son of future hall of famer Ray Lewis, caught his first touchdown as an Aggie.
Fans may be bitter from the controversial call and the loss, but they keep their heads up moving forward.
Next week Utah State (2-2) will travel to play division favorite Boise State (3-0). Boise State beat Oregon State last week 38-24.
