SALT LAKE CITY — Utah dialed up a late-game touchdown to put away USC Friday night and to remain undefeated this season. The come-from-behind victory helped Utah’s case as it moved up in this week’s college football rankings.

Utah moved up to No. 18 in the Associated Press Top 25 Poll, jumping up six spots from last week’s No. 24 ranking, and No. 18 in the USA Today Amway Coaches Poll, jumping up five spots from last week's No. 23 ranking.

Joining Utah in the rankings from the Pac-12 is Stanford, who also needed a late-game touchdown to beat UCLA, and Washington, who narrowly got by Arizona in overtime. Stanford is ranked No. 7 in the AP Poll and No. 6 in the Coaches Poll, followed by Washington at No. 10 in the AP and No. 9 in the Coaches Poll.

The three ranked teams from the Pac-12 are also three of the four remaining undefeated teams in the conference. Stanford and Washington are scheduled to play Friday on ESPN in a game that could likely determine the North division championship. Teams from the Pac-12 receiving votes include Arizona State, UCLA, Colorado and Oregon.

The top ranked programs remain the same, with Alabama taking the No. 1 spot in the AP and Coaches Poll. The Crimson Tide are followed by Ohio State, Louisville, Michigan and Clemson in the AP Poll and Ohio State, Clemson, Louisville and Michigan in the Coaches Poll.

Louisville and Clemson are scheduled to play Saturday night on ABC in a game that has College Football Playoff implications.

Other Top 25 matchups this week include No. 11/11 Tennessee hoping to extend its undefeated season against No. 25/20 Georgia, and No. 8/8 Wisconsin looking to continue its momentum against a red-hot Michigan program.

Utah will travel to play Cal on Saturday at 4 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
