(KSL News) -- The good news out of Primary Children's Medical Center continues for twins Maliyah and Kendra Herrin.
It's been two days since their groundbreaking separation surgery. The girls had another good night last night.
Maliyah is tolerating kidney dialysis well. Mom Erin still plans to donate her kidney to her daughter within the next four to six months. The twins had only one kidney between them and it was in Kendra's body.
Right now, the four-year-olds are being given significant doses of pain killers and are in a sleep state, although they do respond to visitors and each other.
Doctors say the girls will be in the hospital for many weeks.
