SALT LAKE CITY — Utah has been reported as one of the states that consumes the highest amount of ice cream. National Ice Cream Day was July 17, but in Utah, it feels like every day is Ice Cream Day.

There are so many delicious flavors to choose from — whether it’s something as simple as vanilla to something more flavorful like a six-flavor ice cream bowl, they are all delicious.

But which Utah ice cream shop has the best ice cream?

In this poll, we’re asking you to vote for which is Utah’s best ice cream. Many of the ice cream shops mentioned will be local favorites, while some will be hidden gems.

Since this is a local Utah ice cream shop poll, we’ve eliminated places like Baskin-Robbins and Cold Stone Creamery (founded in Arizona). Click on the store name to get more information on shop locations, hours and the menu.

And the nominees are:

Aggie Ice Cream

Famous Aggie Ice Cream serves everything from ice cream to sandwiches to cheese boxes that are made on campus.

Leatherby’s

Leatherby’s Family Creamery has been in business since 1984, serving everything from ice cream — of course — to salads, soups, hamburgers and sandwiches.

Peach City

One of the oldest establishments on our list, Peach City still has a classic vibe to it, along with delicious sundaes, floats, frosties and more.
