SALT LAKE CITY — Snoop Dogg (or is it Snoop Lion?) becomes the latest celebrity to have trouble on the mound.

The ceremonial first pitch is hard for a lot of people, and Snoop Dogg is no different. I’ll let the video below do the explaining:

Maybe they should move the mound closer for some of these celebrities.

Michael Jordan’s ‘Flu Game’ lives on

It’s a game Utah Jazz fans wish they could erase from their memory. For Michael Jordan, though, it cemented an already historic legacy in the NBA, highlighting his willingness to give his all for the team in an effort to win the NBA Finals in 1997.

Coming into Game 5, the “Flu Game,” the series between the Chicago Bulls and Utah Jazz was tied 2-2, each team winning at home. The Jazz seemingly had the upper hand in the game at home and looked destined to take a 3-2 lead heading to Chicago for Game 6.

Despite his teammates holding him up in timeouts, Jordan mustered through the flu symptoms and put a dagger in Utah fans’ hearts, beating the Jazz 90-88 to take a 3-2 lead in the series. Chicago would go on to win Game 6 and the NBA Finals.

Now, the Jordan Brand is celebrating the anniversary of the game with a special pop-up store in Salt Lake City — as if the game alone wasn’t bad enough for fan emotions.

On Saturday, June 11, the pop-up store will take over Fice Gallery in Salt Lake City, according to Jaques Slade on Instagram. The store will offer a restock of the “Flu Game” Jordan 12s and other alternate Jordan 12s.

LeBron James says no to Curry

The NBA Finals has lacked drama this year.

Each of the three games has been a blowout, with the Golden State Warriors decisively winning the first two games. Wednesday night, the Cavaliers got some retribution and routed the Warriors at home.

Like I said, boring.

But that doesn’t mean LeBron James is ready to concede an easy basket to Steph Curry, even if it is not during regulation.

After a whistle from a referee in the third quarter stopped play, Curry attempted to dunk the ball for an easy basket. Golden State was already down by 19 and James wasn’t going to play into Curry’s shenanigans, so he decided to block him. James then stares down Curry as he walks away defeated.

It may be the highlight of the night and a statement of James’ frustration of Curry’s antics. If only we could get some actual drama in these next few games.
