HOLLYWOOD — Although most of us do not remember much about the year we were born, our birth year sticks with us. We like to know what the world was like when we came into it. It's also fun to learn what we have in common with famous celebrities.
This week, the team at PrettyFamous, part of the Graphiq network, discovered the most famous actor or actress born each year, dating back to 1900. To find the most famous celebrities of the past century, PrettyFamous determined who had the highest "Actor Score," a score from 1-100 which accounts for the following figures:
- The number of awards the celebrity has been nominated for
- The total number of IMDb reviews for films and television shows they had roles in
- Recent interest, as determined by Wikipedia page views (specifically, from March 19, 2016 through April 18, 2016)
Note: Some of stars have dabbled in multiple mediums such as singing and directing, but they all have had prominent roles as actors or actresses.
