Police seek armed man who robbed Domino’s Pizza

SANDY — A man used a handgun to rob a Domino’s Pizza, and police are asking for the public’s help to identify him.

The robbery occurred Thursday around 2:50 p.m. at the Domino’s Pizza located at 8944 S. 700 East, according to Sandy City police. A man entered the restaurant and approached the employee at the front counter. He then pulled a handgun from his waistband and demanded money. The robber left the restaurant with an undisclosed amount of money and was last seen heading south on foot, police said.

The robber was described as a white male in his 40s with gray facial hair and a thin to medium build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a mesh hat, a white long-sleeve shirt and blue jeans.
