SANDY — A man who allegedly thought he was meeting up with a 13-year-old child was instead greeted by members of the Internet Crimes Against Children task force.
Investigators arrested Ryan Glenn Hull, 41, of West Valley City, Wednesday for investigation of enticing a minor and dealing in harmful materials to a minor.
Hull went to an area near 8600 South and 1800 East "in order to meet with and engage in sexual activity (a person) he believed was a 13-year-old child," according to a Salt Lake County Jail report.
Investigators say Hull had solicited who he believed was a 13-year-old but was really an ICAC agent online. On April 25, Hull sent the alleged child a picture of his genitals before arranging a meeting, the report states.
