SALT LAKE CITY — They say money makes the world go round. Whether you agree with that statement or not, we all can agree money is an important factor in our lives.
American currency has changed over the years. From changing who’s on the bills to changes in highest denomination, money in the U.S. has seemingly gone through as many changes as it gets exchanged.
Last week, Treasury Secretary Jack Lew announced that Harriet Tubman will replace Andrew Jackson on the front of the $20 bill as part of a historic overhaul of American currency. Jackson’s portrait will move to the back of the bill.
In this quiz, we’ll test your knowledge of American currency. Some of the questions will be on who is on certain bills; other questions will test what you know about the history of the notes.
