LOGAN — Twenty former Utah State players worked out for 21 NFL scouts Wednesday morning with hopes of improving their NFL draft stock during the Aggies’ annual Pro Day.

With representatives from the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, New England Patriots, New York Giants, Denver Broncos and others in attendance at the ICON Sports Performance Center and Stan Laub Indoor Practice Facility, wide receiver Devonte Robinson blitzed the field with an unofficial 4.29 40-yard dash, while Marwin Evans clocked an unofficial time of 4.40 and Bryant Hayes ran a 4.45.

Former Utah State quarterback Chuckie Keeton, who had two seasons end early with knee injuries, ran a 4.63 40, and junior linebacker Nick Vigil clocked a 4.62.

Evans tallied the best vertical jump of the day with a 42-inch leap, and Robinson hit 38 inches to go along with a 10-foot, 8-inch broad jump.

Bill Vavua put up a team-high 32 reps in the 225-pound bench press, and LT Filiaga and Elvis Kamana-Matagi each put up 27 reps.

Aggie senior Kyler Fackrell, who is the No. 8-rated outside linebacker in the draft by nfldraftscout.com, also worked out with the defensive linemen during position drills. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound linebacker ran a 4.72 40 at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis, and added a 34.5 inch vertical jump to a 121-inch broad jump with 15 reps on the bench press. He completed 16 reps at Pro Day.

Fackrell met extensively with the New York Jets, according to several post-practice reports.
