OGDEN, Utah (AP) — Jeremy Senglin scored 17 points and Kyndahl Hill had 14 of his 16 in the second half to lead Weber State to a 68-60 win over Montana State on Thursday night.
The Wildcats (21-7, 13-2) overcame the absence of leading scorer and the nation's No. 2 rebounder Joel Bolomboy (17.6, 13.0)_out indefinitely with a knee injury_to remain tied with Montana atop the Big Sky Conference standings.
Zach Braxton added 14 points for Weber State, which trailed 34-30 at the half. But the Wildcats responded to shoot 62.5 percent (15 of 24) in the second half despite going 1 of 7 from 3-point range.
Tyler Hall led Montana State (12-15, 7-8) with 22 points and Marcus Colbert had 17. The Bobcats shot went 6 for 23 (37 percent) from behind the 3-point arc.
The Wildcats outscored Montana State 42-24 in the paint.
