SALT LAKE CITY — The three-day weekend and celebration of two holidays got a lot of Utahns outdoors, as evidenced by this week's user-submitted photos.

One of the highlights in this week's gallery is a moose that decided to spend the day at Sundance Mountain Resort on Thursday. Several residents caught photos of the animal walking around the slopes amidst all the skiers and snowboarders. Apparently, the moose decided to go Thursday to beat the crowds on Presidents Day.

Another Utahn submitted a startling photo of a small camp trailer fully engulfed in flames on the side of the road. There were also several accidents during the long weekend that people caught on camera.

Several gorgeous sunsets and the never-ending smog along the Wasatch Front also made the gallery.
