SALT LAKE CITY — With her ash blond curls and sky-high legs, University of Utah student Keitra Calaway looks just like Taylor Swift.

People began telling the college student she looked like the popstar back in high school, but now, it's a regular occurrence, she said.

Calaway's twin status with Swift has come with both fun and awkward experiences.

When she was at Disney World a couple of years ago, a lot of kids took pictures with her, unaware she wasn't famous. Not wanting their kids to be disappointed, some parents asked Calaway not to reveal she wasn't actually the singer.

Calaway said the most awkward experience was when she was on a cruise with her family and people waited for her outside the bathroom for a photo op.

"It can be fun, but it can also kind of be like embarrassing or awkward when I'm with other people, because I don't want people to think that that's like … the person that I'm trying to be," Calaway said.

Almost 23,000 people follow Calaway on Instagram, and some ask her to promote their product on her page.

Calaway said some people accuse her of looking like Swift because of her hair or clothes, but she said she dresses how she wants to dress and does her hair the way she likes.

"...I do what I'm comfortable with and I dress in a way that I feel like is modest and appropriate and presents me in a way that I want to be presented," Calaway said.

Last year, Calaway won a Taylor Swift lookalike contest on KSL's Studio 5, and she took part in Alex Boye's recent "African Hipster Ft. (Taylor Swift Doppelganger)" music video.

Calaway has been busy keeping up with emails and collaboration requests. She said she is a student first and doesn't want her studies slip in the face of this, but she also doesn't want to let opportunities pass her by.

The Swift-lookalike has struggled with her own body image and hopes to work with those who have body dysmorphia.

"I just really feel like it's important to reach out and let people know ... they can seek help if they need it and let people know that it does get better once you start to receive the help that you need because it isn't something that's very easy to combat and overcome on your own," Calaway said.

Her current favorite Taylor Swift song is "Clean" and she feels like it resonates with her.
