MAGNA — Police have identified a man killed Monday when his car spun out and was hit by a box truck.
Brian Syddall, 47, of West Jordan, was involved in a three-car crash just before 7:30 a.m. Monday.
Two cars "spun out" on state Route 201 near 9500 West, possibly because of speed and slick roads, said Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce.
A box truck was unable to stop and hit both vehicles, killing Syddall.
