SALT LAKE CITY — Welcome to today's From Left Field! Here are some of the most wacky things you may have missed from the world of sports Monday night.

Former Ute scores punt return touchdown

Rookie Kaelin Clay made a highlight-reel play during "Monday Night Football" on ESPN last night, showing off his incredible speed to go 82 yards on a punt return that ended up being a critical play in the Ravens' 33-27 win. Check it out:

Impressive stuff.

Canyon Barry, Rick Barry's son, shoots FTs underhanded too

Canyon Barry is Rick Barry's youngest son, and in this example, like father, like son. The eldest Barry made eight All-Star teams and won an NBA Finals MVP in his career with his incredible scoring talent, and when he went to the line, he famously shot his free throws underhanded, shooting 89 percent in his career.

Well, Canyon had a great game himself last night with the Charleston Cougars, beating out LSU 70-58. These two underhanded ones at the end of the game helped seal the deal.

Indiana fans go Christmas caroling midgame

Hey, why not, right? With the calendar about to flip to December, these Indiana fans thought an opposing free throw was the perfect time to get into a rendition of Jingle Bells.

I watched a basketball game tonight and heard the fans (band?) sing a Christmas carol. https://t.co/F77VXBHqSC — Brent Yarina (@BTNBrentYarina) December 1, 2015

And it worked! Alcorn State player Malachy Onwudiegwu missed both free throws. Maybe fans everywhere should replace their booing with a little Christmas spirit this December. ![](http://beacon.deseretconnect.com/beacon.gif?cid=344234&pid=4)
