SALT LAKE CITY — BYU traveled to Logan for the 85th installment of the Battle for the Old Wagon Wheel, while Utah finished the Pac-12 regular season at home against Rocky Mountain rival Colorado. Hans Olsen and Christian Cox from 1280 The Zone stopped by the KSL studio to help break it down in the videos above.

Last year, the Aggies won in Provo for the first time since 1978. But the Cougars used Tomasi Laulile's 37-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown, a pair of blocked field goals, and two touchdowns from senior Mitch Mathews to get revenge and give the visiting team three-straight victories in the series.

After the game, a few Cougars broached the topic of their upcoming bowl game in either Hawaii or Las Vegas — and some of them hinted at an eagerness over possibly playing rival Utah in Sin City.

For the Utes, the last couple of weeks have felt like a disappointing season. Utah had one eye on a spot in the Pac-12 title game before a loss to Southern California ended those hopes.

Saturday's Senior Day represented a chance to get back on track, and they won their sixth game in conference play — the most since joining the Pac-12 — thanks to seniors Travis Wilson and Kenneth Scott and junior running back Joe Williams.

With the win, the Utes inched back up the AP poll to No. 21.
