CEDAR CITY — The Utah Highway Patrol on Sunday identified a man who died when the car he was driving slid off the road 6 miles from Cedar City on Saturday.

William Wyman, of Boulder, Colorado, was driving north on I-15 in a 2002 Toyota Tacoma when the truck slid on ice onto the right shoulder and rolled twice. Wyman wasn't wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car, according UHP.

Wyman was pronounced dead at the scene, said UHP trooper Evan Kirby.

A passenger was taken to Valley View Medical Center by ambulance for injuries that were not life-threatening.

The crash was one of more than 200 weather-related collisions that happened in Utah on Saturday.
