DELLE, Tooele County — Police have identified the man who was killed in a rollover Wednesday on eastbound I-80.

Gerald Bastian, 61, of Hooper, died after the vehicle he was in rolled near Delle just before 7 a.m. Bastian was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

The driver of the vehicle, 48-year-old Ann Fearn, of Hooper, was critically hurt in the crash. She was flown to University Hospital with head and body injuries. Fearn was wearing a seat belt.

The Utah Highway Patrol believes alcohol and drugs contributed to the crash. No other vehicles were impacted.
