OGDEN — Weber State athletics and KJZZ TV have announced a multi-year agreement to broadcast most Weber State football and men's basketball home games. KJZZ will broadcast 18 events, four football and 14 men's basketball games, this 2015-16 athletic season.

"This partnership with KJZZ TV will bring a dramatic increase in exposure to our athletic programs and to Weber State University," said Weber State athletic director Jerry Bovee in a prepared statement. "Wildcat athletics can now be seen across the state of Utah and beyond with a high-quality HD TV production. KJZZ has been a great partner with us in the past, and this increased partnership will only further expand the footprint of Weber State athletics and bring attention to our university."

KJZZ televised three Weber State home games in 2014-15.

"KJZZ 14 is excited to expand its local, live sports programming to Weber State athletics with television coverage of 18 football and basketball games," said Jeremy Castro, KJZZ 14 general manager and vice president of broadcasting for Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment in a prepared statement. "We will bring the same high-quality production values and broadcast coverage that we provide our sports properties such as the Utah Jazz, Salt Lake Bees, Tour of Utah and high school games."

KJZZ broadcasts on channel 14 for Dish and DirecTV and channels 3 (SD) and 657 (HD) on Comcast. All games will continue to be streamed live on WatchBigSky.org.
