SALT LAKE CITY — A dancer from Roy is one of the final six contestants on "So You Think You Can Dance."

Hailee Payne, a 20-year-old member of team stage, advanced on the 12th season of the show Monday night. She performed a hip-hop routine with season 10 winner Du-Shaunt "Fik-Shun" Stegall. The three judges gave the routine rave reviews.

"Your performance is utterly brilliant," Nigel Lythgoe said. "Obviously, you enjoy dance so much that's what comes across, and that, young lady, is what makes you a star."

Paula Abdul said Payne is a dynamic dancer, adding that if she continues to dance with that level of skill, she is "going to be on the top of every agent, director, choreographer, producer list."
