HERRIMAN — Police are searching for armed suspects at an apartment complex in Herriman who they say robbed a gas station early Wednesday morning.
Around 5 a.m. Wednesday there was an armed robbery at Chevron gas station near 5400 West 11800 South in Herriman.
Chief Deputy Justin Hoyal with the Unified Police Department said four, possibly five, men entered the store. Two of them had guns, Hoyal said, but no details were released on what items were taken.
At about that same time, UPD got a call from someone stating a suspicious group of men ran into a nearby apartment complex located at 5605 W. 11830 South.
Police say they found beer in the street that is possible evidence from the robbery.
Police don’t know if this is connected to a robbery that occurred earlier Wednesday morning at a 7-Eleven in Salt Lake City.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
