ENGLAND — There’s no “blank space” left when it comes to a giant mural of Taylor Swift, crafted exclusively out of tens of thousands of Legos.
That’s right, fans in the U.K. transformed a load of colored Lego bricks — 38,400, to be exact — into a giant portrait of the pop star, according to a press release from Legoland Windsor Resort.
Guests were able to contribute to the project over the course of a couple of days, working on one of 600 separate sections that made up the final product, according to Legoland. The 8-by-12-foot mural was unveiled Monday as part of the grand opening of the park’s new Heartland City.
You may be scratching your head at this point and asking yourself … why?
Legoland asked its young fans which celebrity they’d choose to call their best friend, and Swift topped the list — beating out English native Ed Sheeran, according to the Irish Examiner. Heartland City is a new attraction celebrating the Lego Friends brand, inspiring the “Best Friend Big Build.”
Lego Taylor Swift is set to dazzle guests at the park through Sunday. So, basically, everything is awesome.
